You will have a new skill upon becoming a member in your skill panel "Travel to Kinship House".  You must have some traveling rations, available from any provisioner.  The Kin neighborhood community center has a provisioner, healer and a vault all conveniently located!.  Repairs are also cheaper there. 

Special Note:  We now have Bogbereth's Head, an Troll head, and our latest prize, the Tentacle of Helchgam in our kin main hall.  Watch the Tentacle-- it has it's own little emote!!
